Alex has been teaching science and math since 2006 at high schools in three different countries.  She has been powerfully influenced by project and challenge based learning models and their power to reshape the traditional classroom and prepare students for a dynamic future.  She is a strong believer in the need for authentic learning experiences and 21st century skills that connect students to their peers and communities around the world.  She imagines a new model of ‘school’ that combines care, authenticity, and preparation for the world of abundance that students live in today.
